Barbara Crosby, A.T.R., is a co-founder of Helix. She is a Gestalt art therapist and psychospiritual counselor and in practice since 1976. Barbara has been a practitioner of Siddha Yoga since 1986 and a student of Tao te Ching. She lives in Asheville, N.C. and comes to New York City regularly to teach in Helix and see clients. Meditation, visualization and reverence for Spirit are at the heart of her practice.
Julie Winter is a minister of Universal Science of Mind, a non-denominational spiritual group. She is a co-founder of Helix and she co-founded Healing Works, a not-for-profit organization that offered free holistic care to at-risk members of the City’s population. Healing Works existed from 1996 to 2002. Julie teaches and leads on-going healing circles. She has given many workshops in the United States and Europe. Her award-winning TV program aired internationally for ten years. She is currently involved in a pioneering meditation project with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. She is a psychospiritual counselor in private practice in New York City and has been in practice since 1969.
Jon Child graduated from the first HELIX training in 1983 and is a co-leader of the HELIX Process Groups. Jon is a Helix Practitioner and psychospiritual counselor, an award-winning documentary filmmaker, and an accomplished video editor and designer of multimedia software. He is an Avatar Master and teacher.
Donna R. Frankel - is a Helix Practitioner and an ordained Helix Minister. She is in private practice in NYC as a mindbody/psychospiritual practitioner and feminist therapist. She works with individuals & couples. Donna teaches gestalt therapy and co leads the process groups. She is currently training in Somatic Experiencing.
Susan Lemak - As an ordained minister, Susan Lemak graduated from the training in 1983. She is a Helix Practitioner and psychospiritual consultant working with individuals and couples since graduating. She also offers consultation to other healers. Her studies include two years of psychoanalytic theory with the Center for Intentional Living. The study of Comparative Religion lead her to the practice of yoga which she has been active in since 2000. Susan was also the facilitator for eight years at the Jacob Perlow Hospice, Beth Israel Hospital, for the Management Support group. She is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
Hugo Lilienfeld, a HELIX graduate, is a Helix Practitioner in practice in New York City. He has studied Buddhist psychology with Lynne Aston for 10 years. He is also a Zen student and has studied with Joshu Sasaki Roshi for 3 years.
